On which nights do you race?
Monday, Friday and Saturday evening

What time is the first race?
The first evening race on Mondays & Fridays is at approximately 7.16pm and at approximately 7.22pm on Saturdays. On most Monday & Friday evenings there are additional teatime races which can be enjoyed trackside from 6.28pm.

What time do the turnstiles open?
Turnstiles open at 6.00 pm.

Do you have a car park and can coaches park there?
We have a large, free car park available with plenty of spaces for coaches.

How many races are there?
Usually 14 races on Saturday and usually between 13 and 16 on Mondays and Fridays.

What time is the last race?
Approximately 10.15pm on Mondays, 10.15pm on Fridays and 10.37pm on Saturdays

What happens if it is raining?
Greyhounds race in all weather so rain or shine we will be open. We have large indoor areas with live CCTV coverage of the racing so you wont miss any of the action.

Do I need to book and pay in advance for Restaurant and 6 Pack Party Packages?
All Classics Restaurant and Six Pack Party bookings require full payment, in advance and in accordance with our terms & conditions of booking.

What happens when I arrive at the stadium and do I need tickets?
For Classics Restaurant bookings go to turnstile No. 3 where your name will be on the gate list. Tickets for Six Pack Party bookings can be collected at Turnstile No.4.(ID required). If you do not have a booking with us simply come along and pay general admission at the gate.

Where is the restaurant situated?
Classics Restaurant is situated on the first floor of the Stadium. Racing is shown on large TV screens throughout the restaurant.

Is there a dress code in operation?
Smart casual. Fancy Dress may be refused.

Do you have private boxes for hire?
We have private boxes which can cater for groups of upto 48 and groups of upto 100.

Can you cater for large parties and/or corporate events?
We can cater for large parties, both in our Classics Restaurant and as part of our Six Pack Parties. We can cater for 350 people in Classics Restaurant.

Can I sponsor a race?
A variety of race sponsorship packages are available.

Can I purchase a video, DVD or photograph of a race presentation?
A  DVD and a photograph of the presentation is included in the sponsorship package.

Can I set up a bar tab?
Your waitress can set up a bar tab for diners in Classics Restaurant. Bar tabs must be settled on the evening. Bar tabs cannot be set up in the main bars.

What time does the bar close?
The bars closes shortly after the last race on Mondays and Fridays and at 11pm on Saturdays.

Can you accommodate wheelchairs?
Wheelchairs can be accomodated both in Classics Restaurant (please advise on booking) and in the main public areas. A lift is available and there are disabled toilets situated on both levels of the stadium.

Is there a cash machine?
Yes, The cash machine is situated in the first floor bar area.

Do you serve fast food?
There is a snack bar serving a variety of hot and cold food situated on the ground floor of the stadium.

Do you race on any other days?
We race every Tuesday morning. First race 11.03am. Admission Free. Gates open 10.30am.

Can I bring children?
Children are admitted free of charge within the care of a supervising adult. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 years to purchase or drink alcohol or to place a bet. It is also an offence for an adult to place a bet or purchase alcohol on behalf of anyone under the age of 18 years. Children are not permitted at the tote or bar counters and cannot hold tote tickets.

Do I need to bring ID with me?
We operate a Challenge 21 policy at Nottingham Greyhound Stadium so if you are lucky enough to look under 21 you will be asked to prove that you are over 18 should you seek admission to the Stadium with a Six Pack ticket, if you attempt to place a bet or attempt to purchase alcohol. It is illegal for anyone under 18 to place a bet. Alcohol will not be served to, and cannot be consumed by, anyone under 18. Any person attempting to place a bet, or purchase alcohol, on behalf of anyone under 18 will be required to leave the premises. Acceptable forms of ID are photocard driving licence, passport and proof of age cards bearing the PASS hologram.
