RACING EVENTS AT NOTTINGHAM GREYHOUNDS

Monday night at Colwick Park is open race night. This is when some of the fastest dogs in the land go head to head in the regular open race year round competitions.

Nottingham is the host to the Betfred Eclipse, The Caffreys Puppy Classic, the Betfred Select Stayers Stakes and the sports richest one off event The Betfred Select Stakes.

BETFRED SELECT STAKES

The Betfred Select Stakes is one of the most prestigious events in the greyhound calendar with the best six dogs being selected by the Greyhound Writers Association to run against each other in a one off invitation race over four bends. The event normally takes place in July or August, and also includes the Betfred Select Stayers Stakes Invitation Race for the six bend stars.

BETFRED ECLIPSE STAKES

The Betfred Eclipse is hosted every November at Nottingham. It's a fantastic Category 1 competition over four bends with some very worthy past winners.

CAFFREYS PUPPY CLASSIC

The Puppy Classic Category 1 competition is run through August and finalists in recent years have gone on to become shining stars in the greyhound world. The Puppy Classic also attracts Top Dog points.
